Boulder city is located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and is considered the 11th most populated city in the state of Colorado. According to the Boulder Metropolitan Statistical Area, the population for the city is 280,440. The city of Boulder is best known for its outdoor recreation and natural beauty.
The city of Boulder is mostly a bright city since the boasts more than 300 sunny days a year. The summer months in Boulder are fairly warm with temperatures between the 80s and 90s. During the winter, Boulder has a mild season due to the surrounding mountains that protect the city from precipitation.
